You will find Bundoran is a great base for exploring the Northwest. Surf lessons are in the morning, leaving your afternoons free for other activities. In Bundoran there is Waterworld, bowling, cineplex, go-carting, outdoor fairground, and adventure centre with skateboarding, climbing, high ropes.
Further afield you can take afternoon trips to Slieve League cliffs, Ben Bulben and Glencar waterfall, Lissadell House, Glenveagh National Park, Donegal Castel, Parkes Castle, Carrowmore megalithic cemetry, Sligo, Letterkenny, Donegal Town.
